The basics
What is Transferito?
A WordPress migration platform with three ways in.
A plugin you install, a cPanel integration for hosts, and an MCP server your AI tools can drive.
What do I actually have to do?
Fill four fields: source URL, admin username, password, destination domain.
Then press the button and wait.
Do I need FTP or SSH access?
No.
There are no credentials to hand around and nothing to configure on the command line.
Is there anything to clean up afterwards?
No. Environment matching maps the configuration on arrival.
Conflicting or leftover plugins are tidied automatically.
Large sites
Is there really no size limit?
No cap.
Transfers are chunked and resumable, so 10GB+ sites complete where most plugins time out around 2GB.
What happens if the transfer drops halfway?
It resumes from the last completed chunk rather than starting again.
The source server has no free disk space.
Offsite migration streams the backup away from the source.
A disk with no headroom can still move.
Hosts and servers
Will it work with my host?
Apache, Nginx and LiteSpeed, any PHP version, shared hosting included.
Around 30 major hosts also run Transferito natively inside cPanel.
My wp-admin is on a custom URL.
That is handled.
Non-standard admin paths and unusual directory structures are both supported.
Does it work on shared hosting?
Yes, within the limits the host itself imposes.
Cloud and offsite routes exist precisely for cramped shared environments.
Can it move a multisite or WooCommerce store?
Yes, from single brochure sites through to multisite networks.
Large WooCommerce stores are the case the engine was built around.
Plugin
Where do I install it, source or destination?
Either end.
The plugin reads both environments and maps the configuration in whichever direction the site is moving.
Can I migrate without the database?
Yes, exclude the database or pick individual folders and directories.
What is migrate-on-DNS-update?
The migration fires the moment nameservers change, on the same URL.
There is no downtime window to sit and watch.
Can I test before committing?
Yes, a test migration runs in seconds.

What is Transferito Connect?
A native cPanel plugin for hosting providers, white-labelled to your brand.
Bulk CSV onboarding, staging-first migration, and an admin analytics dashboard.
Can we migrate a whole client book at once?
Yes, upload a CSV and every credential is validated before anything moves.
Transfers run in parallel, stage first, then promote in one click.
Can migrations run overnight?
Yes, pick a future date, time and timezone and it runs unattended.

No. You set the product name, brand colour and logo.

What can the Agent do?
It exposes migration over MCP, so an LLM or AI builder can run it.
A full install, a theme, selected folders, or everything except the database.
Is it less reliable than the plugin?
No, it runs the same engine with the same 10GB+ ceiling.

Which AI clients work with it?
Any MCP-capable client.

Security
How is the data protected?
AES‑256 encryption in transit and at rest.
No FTP or SSH credentials are needed at any point.
Is the site checked for malware?
Every migration is scanned and infected files are reported.
Automated removal is on the roadmap.
Billing
What does $5 per domain include?
Unlimited migrations to that destination domain for 365 days from the day you pay.
No subscription and no upload-limit extension to buy.
Do larger sites cost more?
No, size is not a billing dimension.
How do volume discounts work?
The whole order bills at the rate for the quantity you select.
